Jim Rossman PhD

Jim Rossman is a principal and founder of variPhase Financial Partners, LLC. Jim has contributed his advice, financial and investment counsel to individuals and businesses since the late 1980s. His experience spans the spectrum from financial planning with recent college graduates to advising start-up enterprises in search of venture capital. His current practice focuses on clients in the pre-retirement accumulation phase of their financial life through the transition planning and implementation of the income or distribution phase of their financial plan.

Jim holds a Doctorate in Economics from the University of Maryland and the FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses. He and his wife Laura are the proud parents of two adult children.

Jonathan Lowenberg

Jonathan Lowenberg is an investment advisory representative bringing his decades of experience in tax and estate matters to the financial planning arena. He holds professional designations as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA^®) and Certified Financial Planner® (CFP^®). Jonathan’s accounting and tax practice is based in Baltimore.

Jonathan’s commitment to community is exemplified by his long-term service as Chairman of Progress Unlimited Inc. an Owings Mills, MD based not-for-profit provider of residential care and support for adults with developmental disabilities. Jonathan served as the last Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Baltimore Hebrew University overseeing its transition to the Baltimore Hebrew Institute at Towson University.

Jonathan holds a B.A. from Bates College and a MBA^® from Loyola College of Maryland.
